About me

Hello and welcome!
My approach to your health is very customized. I integrate my personal blend of massage techniques from sports massage, deep tissue, trigger point/myofascial release, Neuromuscular therapy, Cupping, hot stone therapy, as well as some uniquely my own (and more!) in a methodical session working with my clients to reach their self-care goals. I find that educating clients on how to take an active role in their healing process, in combination with individualized treatment plans leads to the most lasting change.

I incorporate my my toolbox of techniques along with my own journey of self-care and recovery from an inactive, unhealthy life as a debt collector that led me to severe obesity and all the problems therein to a much healthier lifestyle where I dabble in things like martial arts and weight lifting while becoming as knowledgeable as I can about self-care to help me better assist my clients.

My interests include treating or assisting with musculo-skeletal conditions, chronic pain conditions, Motor vehicle accidents (MVA), sports related injury, and ultimately helping you find out the “why” to where you hurt. My goal, in addition to helping you find a better physical and overall wellbeing is to help you to better understand your body and what it’s trying to tell you, helping you to deepen your intuition and improve your mind-body connection in a way that can carry over to all aspects of your life!

I have had the honor to assist people at every level of their own journey, from desk workers, CEO’s, weekend warriors, professional athletes, dancers, fighters, stay at home parents, and everything in between. I am my best self when I am helping others!

My Philosophy of Care

I never knew where my life would take me after I graduated high school. Learning quickly that I wished not to walk the beaten path of the 9-5 world, I decided to do some soul searching. Shortly after I found massage therapy and fell in love with the world! From day one I became fascinated with how the body worked on a muscular level and what changes I could elicit. Looking back now on what I've been able to do and all the people I have been able to help, becoming a massage therapist was the best decision my younger self made!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

I do my best to give a thorough service that educates my clients how to best take care of themselves all while creating a sense of safety and respecting their personal boundaries.

First and foremost is the initial dialogue where I listen to what their desires for the session is and go over how to best address them in the time-frame we have. The goal is to create an open line of communication where they understand what we're going to do and I understand their boundaries before I even begin the session. Continuing that communication into the massage I explain the areas I'm working into to help create a better understanding of their body, changing whatever is needed to best fit their comfort level and into the end of the session where we discuss how to best move forward with massage and their own self-care.
Ultimately ending with my client leaving with enough understanding to make a better educated decision on how to proceed with their own personal care goals.

My Inspiration

Taking care of ourselves is a team sport! Finding a skilled massage therapist you can develop a rapport and sense of trust with and incorporating them into your own unique blend of other providers and self-care routines can make a world of difference in helping you work towards your personal health goals or continue doing what you love.
