Solei Rehab & Wellness
Occupational Therapist/Senior Fitness Specialist
I grew up in San Diego, California and was always very close with my grandparents. From a young age, I enjoyed being around them and learning from their years of experience. I went to college undecided about my career path but knew I wanted to work with seniors. I came across the field of occupational by accident and soon fell in love with the core of the profession - helping people maintain their highest level of independence with the everyday tasks we all need to do. Older adults and seniors often struggle to maintain independence, and quality of life usually decreases once this happens. I went to graduate school at Colorado State University, and now I get to do exactly what I love doing - working seniors to promote health and wellness, improve their quality of life, prevent the cycle of disability, and most importantly help them enjoy their retirement!
The first visit will typically be an evaluation to determine what your needs are and how we can address them. We will create an individualized care plan to help you recover and regain your strength and independence.
Health and wellness is the core of our existence. Without it, we are often unable to enjoy life and do the activities and occupations we want and need to do. While we can't always prevent injuries, accidents, or disabilities, we can do certainly do our best to prevent what we can.
