My approach to nutritional counseling is a collaborative one, by which I view a person holistically- looking at sleeping and eating patterns, as well as how that person upholds their level of wellness. I don't believe in telling clients what to do. I believe in understanding their goals, finding out what is important to them, and helping them reach those goals. We will jointly modify thoughts, behaviors, and eating patterns. Through nutritional counseling, I not only educate about nutrition and healthy habits, but I also ask clients to explore thoughts and beliefs about these situations.
As a CLT, I specialize in adverse food reactions, including food allergies, food sensitivities, and food intolerance. LEAP stands for Lifestyle Eating And Performance and is an individualized diet plan that helps alleviate symptoms of inflammatory diseases such as IBS, migraine, fibromyalgia, and others. I use the LEAP Immunocalm Diet Protocol, based on the Mediator Release Test (MRT) blood test. This blood test identifies a person's reactivity to up to 150 different foods and food chemicals. This protocol has helped clients recover from the most severe symptoms, typically improving after 10-12 days.
My services include menu and meal planning, sharing cooking techniques, and conducting group classes. I will travel to locations to speak and provide educational sessions about health, nutrition, and wellness.
