Love Life Yogi
Yoga is such a special practice that will help you reduce stress and increase your strength and flexibility. My classes are accessible to all levels of ability and all ages.
I hated the first yoga class I took (2008)...it was hard and I was uncomfortable. But it made me feel better, so I continued to go. Now, I know that being uncomfortable is the body's way of saying "change is happening!" and change doesn't always feel good.
As a teacher, I love to help guide people through this discomfort...helping them experience unique changes in their physical and mental body.
Yoga has changed my life in so many ways. It transformed my physical body (getting rid of aches and pains from being a life-long athlete), it gave me peace of mind (by teaching me how to live in the present and stop worrying about the future), and it presented me a life purpose (by being able to share it with others).
The connection I share with my students is so special to me.
I became a yoga instructor because I wanted to share the main contributor in my wellness journey with other people who were struggling. During my early 20's I dealt with traumatic grief after the death of a loved one and yoga was what guided me through it. Yoga saved my life. Being able to share this practice with other people struggling with trauma is such a special honor.
Yoga is for everyone! It is a personal practice that anyone can participate in. It is designed to feel good, and you should never experience physical pain while in a session. The first class is always the hardest due to the fear of the unknown.
I love being someone's first yoga experience!
