I have a degree with disciplines in Kinesiology, Public Health, and Religious Studies. My first business was as a dog sitter in college. I love waterskiing, weightlifting, hiking, and acting like I know how to dance.
I'm VERY clumsy but I mask it with athleticism.
Growing up I was always very muscular (my parents forced me to do sports) and had difficulty loving my body. I refused to wear dresses or shorts until I was about 16 years old and even then, I was very self-conscious until I was about 23.
That's when my big "ahh-haa" moment happened and I truly began to feel love and gratitude for my body and all that it has endured and provided me. My goal is that you too have that moment!
I have always had an interest in healing people, although I originally wanted to be a physical therapist. I was constantly dieting and burning myself out with exercise in my late teens and early 20's.
Once I figured out my sweet spot, and people came to me for guidance, I realized I wanted to help others create their most healthy, sustainable lifestyle as well!
I think the biggest misconception in this "industry" is that health isn't fun.
