Soma Structural Integrator
relief from pain and restored mobility
Amanda is a Soma Structural Integrator who graduated from the Soma Institute in 2016.
Structural Integration is a bodywork modality related to Rolfing. By focusing work on the fascia and connective tissue that form a neuromuscular web encasing what we define as each muscle, we can influence the way we experience life in our bodies. By creating balance side to side, back to front, and inside and out, mobility is improved, as well as our ability to feel grounded or to feel levity-to be light as a feather. Additionally, the work can alter the way we experience sensations such as pain or tension.
The Soma Series is all encompassing and hits on every major landmark where fascia may be congested and muscle tissue may be locked or held. The series eleven sessions designed to provide balance and release to encourage self expression and self reliance. 1. Breath 2. Grounding 3. Sidelines | The Core| 4. Inner Line 5. Deep Pelvic 6.
