I have had insomnia for almost my entire life, and have never been a morning person. I just completed Andrea's 5 week hypnotherapy course for sleep and for the first time in my life I can honestly say I AM A MORNING PERSON! I am up at 6:30am 7 days a week and it feels incredible and is life changing. My sleep has vastly improved and continues to get better every week. If you cannot sleep, do this, I found the fee to be super reasonable.
Andrea was amazing. Really easy to work with and broke down the method so it was easy to put into practice. I went from rarely a good night’s sleep to the exact opposite. My quality of life is better because I have more energy and my time is managed better. I absolutely recommend her program and I have already been spreading the good word.
Andrea is wonderful to work with. She is understanding, compassionate and my experiences with her have always been positive. I came to Andrea to help with my testing anxiety as I am in a rigorous graduate program where we were being tested every other week during my first semester. I had a lot of bad associations with tests from my undergraduate experiences of classes trying to weed people out, and I always found myself extremely anxious before each test. She was able to break through to me and I slowly found that I was becoming more confident within myself and taking tests without the anxiety. I was also excelling in my work environment with my new found confidence. I would not have been able to do so well on my tests this semester without Andrea's help! I am able to focus now and not make any mistakes due to anxiety or distractions of self doubt. She really unlocked something that I would never have been able to access on my own. I was a bit skeptical before coming to Andrea as I have never been hypnotized before, however I am so happy that I came to her. Thank you so much Andrea for all of your help and support!

About me

I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified CBT-I Insomnia Clinician in practice since 2010. I offer virtual sessions with clients, in person sessions in my Calabasas or West LA offices and Group Sessions virtually or in person. I have also created a wonderful 6-week course to improve sleep which is provided online.

I grew up in New England but also lived in New York City and Chicago before moving to Los Angeles where I have now been almost half of my life! I have always been an artistic, creative, compassionate person. Friends and clients view me as a very warm, genuine, calm and balanced person with a good sense of humor.

I have helped clients with many different types of issues such as IBS, Smoking Cessation, Emotional Eating, Weight Management, TMJ, Sports Performance, Addiction, and Trauma Resolution but I specialize in Anxiety, Fears and Phobias, Insomnia and Confidence Building.

I use Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, Mindfulness Techniques, NLP Techniques, CBT and CBT-I, EFT (Tapping), Idiomatic Response Technique and Brain-Spotting in my session work.

I work privately with clients & also as a consultant, or independent contractor, for local mental health and addiction facilities. I have facilitated many group sessions online and in person and recently begun to work with corporations providing Executive Hypnosis Coaching and other services to employees via corporate HR departments.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is non-judgmental and client centered, meaning I always keeps each specific client's needs and unique qualities in mind for each session. My goal is to educate and inspire clients and leave clients feeling that they gained something from each session whether it is a new insight, clarity on something, a new tool or just a moment of relaxation.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

Clients attending a 1st session with me, should expect to learn about hypnosis, how it works, what to expect & the potential benefits from hypnosis related to their specific issue. Clients will partake in a brief suggestibility assessment which will then lead to progressive relaxation, guided imagery, perhaps some breath-work & an initial induction. Time will be left at the end of the session for any questions or concerns. Clients can expect a relaxing experience with a kind & loving guide.

My Inspiration

I was inspired to become a healer by my own experience with hypnosis. I love people and enjoy connecting with clients, learning from them and being able to introduce them to the benefits of the modality as well as the others I have studied. I love that my practice allows me to use so many of my skills and unique qualities, my voice, my imagination and creativity, my personal and professional experiences, life experiences and business acumen.

Review for Online Sleep Recovery Course Deep, Delicious Sleep I really enjoyed taking this course w/ Andrea. Each week covers step by step what you need to start sleeping well again. There are hypnotherapy recordings to listen to each week to help to reprogram the mind for sleep and a weekly Q&A that I found helpful. Andrea also made herself available during the week if I had concerns. I've just finished the 6th week and if I compare myself from the 1st week to now, I'd say there is a vast improvement about my understanding of sleep, positive thoughts and overall wellness.
I decided to go to hypnotherapy for my claustrophobia issues. I was a bit of a skeptic walking into Andrea's therapy session. I didn't fully feel comfortable doing hypnotherapy at first but was willing to try it because I was going to Boston & knew I had some challenges with the metro. I needed to heal in less than a month. Andrea made me feel so at ease & comfortable the first session I attended. I felt hope after the second session. By the fourth session I was healed to a huge degree. Andrea took the extra time to take me down to the metros after another healing session to test my phobia. Sure enough I was able to take the metro without any fears. I could not have done my Boston trip without hypnotherapy with Andrea. I was stuck in the metro in Boston & I was able to maintain my panic attacks which I normally could never do. Andrea is so amazing, kind & loving. I feel like she does this because she truly cares about people & wants to help. She's so good with providing you with additional information & helping you heal in many ways. I have referred her to several friends already that need healing in different areas. She will heal you. Thank you Andrea, you have a gift & it's a beautiful thing that you are sharing it with others.
