About me

About meAnn Marie Rivera, L.A.c, is a Texas board licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, specializing in pain management, pediatrics, anti-aging/endocrine, women and men”s health. Ann Marie received her master’s degree at Texas Health and Science University (THSU) in Austin, TX. Additionally, Ann Marie is an occupational therapy assistant, and hold a certification as a Reiki Master Teacher.

Ann Marie has eighteen years of experience as an occupational therapy assistant, working in different setting from golden age, pediatric, inpatient, outpatient, home-health, assisted and independent living. Ann Marie’s experience in the medical field has given her the opportunity to cultivate a supportive and nurturing patient-first approach to her treatments. She has a diverse set of skills that integrates both western/eastern medicine. Ann Marie’s intent as a practitioner is to unite the best knowledge of both systems: Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Biomedicine, focusing not only on corrective, but also on preventive care in order to help you achieve optimum health.

When not treating clients, Ann Marie enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her dog Cosmos, and exercising.
