As a Certified aromatherapist and a Licensed Massage Therapist - I truly have your best interest at heart! My massages are never the same!
As a child, I knew it was always in my future to take care of others. Originally a Licensed Massage Therapist (1994), I was introduced and intrigued by essential oils not long after.
in 2013 I completed my Certification of Aromatherapy and my training has never stopped. Continuing, my education includes French Aromatherapy where I specialized in the internal use of essential oils and delved into a study of Fibromyalgia using multiple holistic strategies; Essential Oil Component Blending - a study of the chemical components of the oils: and Teacher Training - part of my life is teaching workshops.
I am working toward a degree as a Clinical Aromatherapist.
I am an avid writer on varying subjects of aromatherapy including topics such as safe use, stress & anxiety, essential oil research and others.
My website with organically handmade, small-batch products for general use can be found here: www.lastregabuona.com
Being able to work for myself was my top priority. Now that I have that, I can spend my time helping others feel better and reach homeostasis. My career gives me time to balance my life between family and work and it shows when I work with clients.
Strong but sensitive is what first comes to mind. Inquiring to get to the root of any problems and understanding and thoroughness in my massage work - looking for the root of the problem - and working with the body as a whole rather than in parts.
It's plant-based medicine for the soul using parts of plants such as leaves, flowers, fruit, wood, needles (pine), and roots - the oil of the aromatic plant is extracted in general by steam distillation or cold pressing. Oils can be very potent and consulting with a trained professional is always advised.
