I was 23, in my first year of med school and dropped out. Western medicine wasn't for me. Many years later I started studying herbalism. The holistic view that the body is a whole being that may need support to fend off illness, or even PREVENT it, made so much more sense to me, then fighting off disease after it occurs. So much that I moved to Austin, TX to go their highly recommended Academy of Oriental Medicine to become an acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. That was in 1999. I've since added bodywork, counseling with nutrition/supplements, and in-depth training using Earseeds!
I am passionate about my clients achieving their highest health. I believe that when we feel great, we can live our lives to the fullest. Every being has the potential to feel better than they do currently. My goal is to help people along that path, using acupuncture, bodywork, herbal medicine, nutritional guidance and supplement recommendations.
Very relaxing!!! We do an extensive head-to-toe intake, and come up with a detailed and personalized treatment plan, to address presenting issues. Then, we'll do a treatment, most clients get both acupuncture and bodywork. you should leave feeling better then when you came in! Even with chronic problems.
I was born a healer. I've always been empathic, and instinctively seem to know what others need to feel comfortable or better. It just made sense to take that to a professional level.
