I learned to feed people, from the Galley of Commercial fishing boats and later Custom Charter boats in Southeast Alaska. A desire to learn more about my own being and how I could better support it in the remote regions of Alaska led me to study Yoga and Ayurveda. A slow spiral into and out of Chronic illness (Seizures & Ulcerative Colitis) has kept me curious and learning more all the time. What we are enlivened by insures we thrive. I am passionate about wild places (hiking, backpacking, skiing), music; I play the ukulele, and dance. Specifically the Argentine tango, it is a gift to connect to yourself and then offer that connection to another being.
There is a lot of power in what you put on your plate, you can shift a mood, fortify and lend strength, or punctuate an already glorious experience. It brings me joy in providing experience for others. My relationship to myself has had a profound impact on my health. Ayurveda & Yoga have been powerful tool for optimizing communication and connection lines in my own mind body and spirit to live as a more balanced vibrant human. It's an honor to share this with others.
Aria takes the time to get to know me and genuinely hears what I'm searching for. She has a knack for pulling together the obscure threads into a coherent whole. I went in feeling scattered and came away with a plan.
If you ever take a moment to breath or notice when the Sun sets you are already part of Yoga and Ayurveda. Exploring further allows for greater connection to your natural rhythm and potential!
