12 week Jumpstart Your Health package
This is NOT a typical “doctor’s appointment” for 10-15 minutes every few months where you might leave frustrated, with more questions than answers. I want to be there for YOU as you transform your health in the best way possible! With the Jumpstart Your Health 12 week package, I get to know you first as a global citizen - your physical health, mental health, social/emotional health, who you are as a person, and your WHY on what you'd like to accomplish with my support. I perform an in-depth overview and assessment of your current overall health. I thoroughly evaluate your personal medical history; family history; social/emotional health; any medications and/or supplements; your nutritional history; and information on your exercise patterns, sleep, stress, and other key lifestyle factors. At our first meeting, you will spend 90 minutes with me, a Board-certified family medicine and lifestyle medicine physician expert focusing on where you are starting out, but more importantly, how best and most efficiently achieve your health and wellness goals. You will have access to many detailed, real-world resources on changing your diet and lifestyle and how to navigate common challenges. You will learn how to put together simple, nourishing healthy meals, using low-cost, real food that's available in any grocery store. You will "walk the walk" together with me, week by week, with weekly 1 hour Zoom online sessions to check in and track your progress. These sessions may be a traditional Zoom session, a virtual pantry/kitchen review/cleanout, a session on how to navigate the health care system, a cooking class, or even a walk outside with me during our coaching sessions! You and I will collaborate and decide upon the best plan of action to meet your needs. In addition, you will have unlimited email support in between sessions when you hit roadblocks – because we all face challenges! Your questions will be answered, and I will be with you every step of the way. You will never feel alone in your personal journey. Options are available at the end of the program to maintain your success! **A monthly installment plan is available.**

My Philosophy of Care

After 10+ years of practicing family medicine in various settings, seeing the same patients with the same chronic conditions over and over again in a busy practice without much improvement, I began to question the focus of traditional medicine. After some research, I started learning about lifestyle medicine and how it addresses the root causes of disease - nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress reduction. The more I learned, the more I was hooked and used my knowledge successfully in my patient interactions. I started Diya Lifestyle and Wellness to more easily help individuals and families use evidence-based, scientific information and guidance on diet and lifestyle change to improve their health.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

My clients are surprised by the in-depth questions that they are asked both before and during the visit. Most medical professionals have 15 minutes in the office with patients and are not able to get information on the root causes of disease. Diya Lifestyle and Wellness prides itself on getting to know clients in a holistic, comprehensive way.
