"Welcome to The Acupuncture Nest, where licensed acupuncturist Dr. Ashley is dedicated to helping her Point Loma community heal naturally and effectively. With a deep passion for her work, Dr. Ashley uses her expertise in acupuncture, herbs, and ancient techniques to uncover the root of discomfort and accelerate well-being for those experiencing stress and daily discomfort.
Dr. Ashley's philosophy of care incorporates 3000-year-old medicine into current medical needs, using a gentle approach to treat all aspects required for healing the body, mind, and spirit. By taking the time to listen and explore all aspects of health complaints, she creates a unique point prescription that establishes circulation and effectively brings the body back into balance, allowing you to heal naturally, safely, and effectively.
During your first visit, Dr. Ashley will conduct a comprehensive health assessment, reviewing your full medical history and exploring all aspects of your health, treating the body as a whole. You will receive a customized acupuncture treatment tailored to your specific needs, along with a treatment plan that may include herbal prescriptions, lifestyle recommendations, and nutrition counseling.
Dr. Ashley's inspiration for pursuing alternative medicine stems from her personal experience with her younger sibling, who was very sick as an infant.
