Ashley is a wonderful teacher and kind instructor. I have been practicing yoga with her for 3 years and have loved the growth I have had with her over time in my practice. Her personal attention to her clients is what first made me fall in love with her as a teacher. I love that her classes are specific to you as the client and you always walk away feeling heard and quite honestly just feeling happier and healthier! Ashley is so warm and inviting just being in her presence puts a smile on my face. I appreciate how she listens to what I need both mentally and physically every time so the practice is always different for what my body and mind needs that day/moment. I highly recommend Ashley!
Ashley takes time with her clients to really listen and understand what they are experiencing and their goals. She works with the client to create attainable steps for success. Her yoga style is intuitive and always includes creative flows, deep stretching, breath-work and wonderful music. Ashley's passion for herbalism and her work as an Ayurvedic practitioner truly gets to the root cause of the problem to help you heal through the use of herbs and lifestyle adjustments. I would 10/10 recommend Ashley to anyone of my friends and family members.
Ashley is inspiring and motivating! She takes time to listen and truly understand your goals. I learned so much about myself and my body's needs through her Ayurveda knowledge and coaching. She truly cares about her clients and it radiates in every interaction. As a yoga instructor, Ashley guides great breath work and flows. Her queues and sequencing are on point and she meets you where you are at while also challenging you. Case and point: I love working with Ashley!

My Philosophy of Care

The day I turned 22 I had a complete breakdown. I had been out of school for just over a year and had been living in a new state (where I had minimal friends and no family) for one year. I had no idea what I was doing in life, no idea what my path or purpose was. In an effort to get my life back on track, I decided to pick two things to complete within the next year and made a promise to myself that I would complete them. One of those promises was to obtain my Yoga Teacher Certificate. The first day I stepped into my program, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be and helping others heal was my purpose in life.

After this initial dive into the health and wellness world, I began to see how many people around me (either friends or family) who suffered in their everyday life from health, mental or emotional "dis-eases". I knew there was another way to live that was not dependent on medication and didn't require people to miss out on the best experiences in life.

Seeing my family, friends and then other peoples' family and friends not know HOW to live a better life sent me on a deep dive to learn all I could about holistic and natural living/healing.

I knew from then on out that my purpose in life was to educate my communities about how to live a healthier and happier life.

My Inspiration

Holistic healing is our bodies natural way of healing. It is the most intuitive form of healing than any other method. Holistic healing simply means looking at the body from a holistic approach (all systems working together vs isolating bodily systems) and looks at symptoms from the root cause. Holistic healing can be as simple and gentle as working on nutrition and as intense as complete lifestyle overhauls coupled with supplements. Holistic healing depends 100% on the patient, what they need and their comfort zones.

Questions & Answers

The short answer - YES. Air purifiers are 100% worth buying as long as you're getting an air purifier that is effective. My favorite air filters are Austin Air Purifiers https://austinair.com/shop/ These are clinically proven medical-grade air purifiers. These air purifiers were used in lower Manhattan in 2001 and in New Orleans after Katrina and we are using them in our own homes now. Their true Medical Grade HEPA filter removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns - this means a very significant reduction in indoor dust, mold, pollen, chemicals, and gasses that are blunting your body's immune system capacity. You can read more about what they do and their effectiveness on their website. Hope this helps!

Hi Ryan! There are so many good answers here. Some of my favorite herbal sleep remedies (aside from everything mentioned here and lifestyle remedies - including blue light blocking, food choices, hydration, screen time, etc) are listed below! - Skullcap - skullcap is amazing for calming and restoring the nervous system. Herb Pharm has a Skullcap tincture (one with alcohol and one without) use one dropper full in a few ounces of water before bed. - Nutmeg - Nutmeg is AMAZING for sleep (and getting a lot of it). Nutmeg takes about 4 hours to activate in the body but lasts for 8 hours. If you're going to take nutmeg, take it about 4 hours before you want to be asleep. A good dosage to start with a few grams and see if you need to titrate up or down from there. - Wild Lettuce - Wild lettuce has been used historically to support nerves and promote restful sleep. If you can find it in tea form you can mix wild lettuce with some sort of herbal tea and drink before bed. Hope these help add to your sleep resources!
