The day I turned 22 I had a complete breakdown. I had been out of school for just over a year and had been living in a new state (where I had minimal friends and no family) for one year. I had no idea what I was doing in life, no idea what my path or purpose was. In an effort to get my life back on track, I decided to pick two things to complete within the next year and made a promise to myself that I would complete them. One of those promises was to obtain my Yoga Teacher Certificate. The first day I stepped into my program, I knew I was exactly where I needed to be and helping others heal was my purpose in life.
After this initial dive into the health and wellness world, I began to see how many people around me (either friends or family) who suffered in their everyday life from health, mental or emotional "dis-eases". I knew there was another way to live that was not dependent on medication and didn't require people to miss out on the best experiences in life.
Seeing my family, friends and then other peoples' family and friends not know HOW to live a better life sent me on a deep dive to learn all I could about holistic and natural living/healing.
I knew from then on out that my purpose in life was to educate my communities about how to live a healthier and happier life.
Clients describe their first visit with me as being warm, inviting and educational.
Holistic healing is our bodies natural way of healing. It is the most intuitive form of healing than any other method. Holistic healing simply means looking at the body from a holistic approach (all systems working together vs isolating bodily systems) and looks at symptoms from the root cause. Holistic healing can be as simple and gentle as working on nutrition and as intense as complete lifestyle overhauls coupled with supplements. Holistic healing depends 100% on the patient, what they need and their comfort zones.
