I've found my perfect yoga teacher in Aviva. Her caring, varied and well-explained classes are enjoyable and have benefited my body and mind.
My 30 days were complete last week and I have to admit to feeling a nit sad about that. Whilst adapting to plan was a steep learning curve, I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and LOVED the food - happy food I'm calling it. I began T30 in an attempt to reduce the number and severity of migraine and headaches, which I've suffered with for 35 years, but that has also become worse in the last year. I have a number of other minor health complaints but nothing that is comparable debilitation wise with migraine. The first thing I noticed once I was on plan was my energy levels had exploded. For the first time in years, I felt up beat and as though I wanted to get out and try things. I felt like I could climb a mountain. You'll know that migraine often leave you feeling like you've been beaten up and so that level of energy and enthusiasm was both unexpected and intensely joyful. Then I noticed that I was beginning to get headache free days. Again, I can count the number of headache free days I've had in the last 6 months on one hand, my feelings of elation are hard to express.

Reiki is a form of energy healing. It is hugely relaxing and can reduce pain. It is known to speed healing. A universal energy is transferred to the patient. It targets energy fields around the body and can shift stagnant energy, removing blockages, in a similar way to acupuncture.

Yoga class private or family session
Hatha yoga class adapted to your requirements and physical needs. Yoga is much more than an exercise class. It includes pranayama (breath work) and meditation. Yoga increases energy in the body. It helps with flexibility of the body and mind. Everyone can practice yoga. Yoga is great for muscle strength, flexibility, removing tension, helping with focus, helping you become aware of your body, and find some stillness. I have recently studied yoga for chronic fatigue syndrome and long COVID and can now offer classes to help with these.

About me

My calling in life is to bring healing and health to your body naturally. One huge benefit is migraine relief.

I have been qualified as a FRYOG (Friends of Yoga) teacher for 6 years now. I teach Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa combined, including breathing practices and meditation.
I also work with whole food nutrition supplements, which I am passionate about, as they have turned around my health. I have improved my immunity hugely (I am also a school teacher) and have eliminated 35 years of migraines.
I am a Reiki Healer.

My Philosophy of Care

Really well. I have taken my yoga teaching online. I have lots of time to meditate and do yoga - it is like a mini retreat. I am, of course, unhappy with not seeing my friends and loved ones. I have taken the time to build my supplements business and learn how to use social media more effectively. I do hope that you are well.

I always make sure I wake to natural light. Notice the breath filling your body. I practice gratitude by saying, either out loud or in my head, three things that I am grateful for. Try not to turn on your phone for at least an hour after waking. I start my stretches whilst still in bed and then continue them when I am out of bed. The way that we start our day has a massive impact on the rest of our day.

Always lots of fruit and vegetables. I provide my clients with fruit, vegetables and berries in capsule form, all guaranteed herbicide and pesticide free. We have three gold standard studies on immunity. Keep away for sugars if you can, as they will weaken your immune system. Avoid stress, maybe with daily meditation.
