I have been working with Beth for over a year. She has helped me tremendously with the application of her Yoga skills to therapeutically restore me to wellness. When I first started with Beth, my body was a wreck. I was morbidly obese and suffering from post chemo joint and back pain. I had 2 major surgeries including a bilateral mastectomy with full flap reconstruction and a total hip replacement. Beth’s ability to help me and guide me through a series of movements that built my strength and confidence to help me get better. I continue to work with her twice a week. Her studio is very comfortable and the private instruction has certainly encouraged my practice. Quite simply I am hooked!

About me

Ms. Cross is a yoga therapist/teacher with extensive training and certifications to work most effectively with individuals who are cancer survivors, as well as those who suffer from Parkinson's Disease and early dementia. Maintaining a healthy mind-body connection while aging is key to living a high quality of life for as long as possible, and the practice of gentle and therapeutic yoga helps greatly in maintaining this connection. Ms. Cross works with individuals on a one-to-one basis in her boutique-style studio in Penfield, New York. In addition to the individuals described above, her studio is a welcoming place for anyone who just wants to step out of the storm of modern life and simply rest for a while. Melissa, have you ever tried yoga nidra? I use an app called Insight Timer. You listen to it as you go to sleep and it guides your awareness through your body, relaxing you one step at a time. Works for me every night.
