Brett is one of the very best acupuncturists and Asian body work therapists I have ever seen over the last 25 years! He cares, he listens, he knows what to do extremely well to help get you back in action and even makes you laugh! I have a history of chronic pain since 1994 from orthopedic trauma from a car accident and overuse as jewelry designer for 15 years. Laundry list of issues including blown meniscus, torn rotator cuff, De quervain's, carpal tunnel, epichondylitis, cervical and lumbar disk compression and sciatica...He is amazing and got me through my year of AOMA DAOM program in 2017-2018...sitting in chairs in a class room for 12 hours a day for a week straight every 4-6 weeks is kryptonite to an orthopedic trauma chronic pain patient. Brett rocks and can help you keep on keeping on!
Bret is an incredibly intuitive practitioner, highly skilled and very personable. His practice is professional without being g pretentious and he really pays attention to the patients specific needs.
I went to see Bret for my first acupuncture session, to work on generalized anxiety and stress. I was a little anxious coming in, as I didn't really know what to expect. Bret has a very good bedside manner and made me feel comfortable enough to discuss the issues I was having. Throughout the session I didn't feel any sort of pain, and he thoroughly explained what he was doing at every point. He clearly is very knowledgeable and has a broad skill set in Asian therapy, which he combines with compassion and empathy to make for a great experience! By the end of the session I was relaxed enough to almost fall asleep. Highly recommended.

About me

BRET ROGERS, LAC., MACOM, AOBTA-CP

Bret came to Traditional Chinese Medicine through his practice of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong. He began studying martial arts in 2007 and instantly felt drawn to the forms the body made in Tai Chi. The deliberate movements, the focus on qi, resonated with him and he quickly delved into the practice. As his interest matured, the academic within him began to yearn for the a deeper understanding of what was happening within these practices. In 2011 he decided to attend the AOMA School of Integrative Medicine earning a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM). In 2017 he started the Doctoral Program at AOMA and is focusing on acupuncture outreach for treating addiction in the Austin area.

He is currently on Faculty at AOMA as the Clinical Resident Supervisor, primary Teaching Assistant for the Biomedical Department and Acupuncture Techniques Department, and instructor for the Biomedical Terminology course.

Bret practices acupuncture because of its integrative and holistic approach, particularly with respect to Women's Health. Having seen so many women and female bodied friends helped tremendously by this medicine after being dismissed by many other practitioners, he made it a primary focus of his studies. He also has focuses in pain management, sports injury, addiction, and mental health. Schedule online with him, or call to directly at (512) 450-4228 to make an appointment.

Recommended to me by a friend for Cedar allergies. Just had my second session and i feel great. Bret is very personable and makes you feel at ease. Cedar season will be no problem this year.
Professional and compassionate care. Bret takes the time to get to know you and your history. Very attentive and shows a great deal of love for the art of acupuncture. Left leaving relaxed and centered. Look forward to returning! ❤🧘‍♂️
