Carol Bufithis is a seasoned educator and bodyworker. She offers a wealth of knowledge that originates from several decades of experience in both fields. It is evident in her seminars that her professions have been a source of great of joy and inspiration, qualities she wishes to pass along to others.
She has been an educator for more than 4 decades. She began her career in public schools and moved into the world of holistic health shortly after, Carol has been a faculty member of Cortiva Institue (formerly Ct. Center for Massage Therapy) since 1984. She taught many hands-on courses yet her passion for the last decade is Personal Development and Mindfulness classes to enhance the Therapeutic Relationship with Client and therapist.
She owns " Teaching With Care, a company that provides Seminars that serve others to help improve the quality of their work and lives.
She has been a bodyworker for over 3 decades with an emphasis on energy work and body-mind connection. She is the owner and manager of Therapeutic Massage Center in Middlefield Ct. that she established in 1983. She has managed over 50 therapists who have worked there with her over the years.
Currently Carol is providing Coaching sessions to help clients who are making transitions in their lives. She also assists with skills and strategies for teachers to help reduce stress and create more joy in their daily work.
In her spare time she is writing a book called “Making Choices” and also working on a set of personal development flash cards to improve partner communication skills.
Carol is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
