About me

My name is Colleen Patrice. My life—both personally and professionally—has always revolved around the Healing Arts, and I've always had a knack for inspiring people to make healthier, happier choices in service to living more Fulfilled and Joyful Lives.

My life’s work is committed to nurturing Love, optimal health, and authentic happiness within myself and others. For many years I’ve worked as a hands-on Healing Arts Practitioner, a Health & Wellness Consultant, a Wild Dolphin Swim Facilitator, an EMDR Therapy Advocate, an Author, and Spiritual Guide & Counselor.

I feel most at home in nature, far away from the chaotic energy of the city. I relish adventurous outdoor activities that push my body and mind to become stronger, healthier, and more finely tuned to the call of My Spirit.

My Philosophy of Care

I've been drawn to the Healing Arts pretty much as long as I can remember! My first spontaneous encounter with wild dolphins-- swimming just beyond the waves in Cardiff, CA-- was an incredibly magical day that spurred profound effects on my gifts and abilities in the healing realm, as well as my lifelong connection with dolphins and whales. Something happened that day that opened every aspect of my being to expanded possibilities. That was over three decades ago!

Clients usually report feeling incredibly loved, heard, understood, accepted, supported and empowered... and leave the session feeling relaxed, inspired, uplifted, and ready to take on the next chapter with courage and clarity.

My Inspiration

This is an incredible modality that has the ability to bring amazing clarity to any area of life, while providing feet on the ground guidance upon which you can immediately act. Akashic Readings also offer the potential to transform really sticky lifelong patterns in a single session.

I always refer potential clients to my website to learn about the Akashic Records to see if it resonates with him/her before booking a reading with me. Readings are most successful when a person is both called to this modality, as well as willing to share openly, deeply, and authentically. Like anything, the most profound shifts come from a willingness to do the work.

Washing your hands often with soap and warm water-- thoroughly (between fingers, under fingernails, on the backs of hands)-- is vital to staying healthy (always). Especially when you've been out and about. Be mindful of touching public surfaces with your hands-- doors, counters, key pads, ATMs, gasoline dispensers, bathroom handles & faucets, etc-- and use a paper towel, or your foot, hip, elbow when possible-- and try to keep your hands off of your face. Immunity-boosting and antiviral foods & supplements will be very helpful, such as: raw garlic, zinc/zinc lozenges, Nano Silver (I like Argentyn 23-- 1 tsp 2x/day), Iodine, Vit D (at least 2,000 IU's/day), Vit C complex (as much as you can take before diarrhea), Red Marine Algae (extremely anti-viral), Vit A (25,000 IU daily-- but not meant for long term use), Organic green juices, Licorice Root is helpful for the lungs (tea or tincture). As Joy AE Dennis shared, essential oils are great, too. Some general tips: If you can, get outdoors for 20-30 minutes/day to absorb direct and/or indirect sunlight. The best times are before 9:00 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. in the winter, or after 6:00 p.m. in the summer. Try to practice allowing the full-spectrum sunlight to enter your eyes by not wearing sunglasses during this time (don't look into the sun, of course). The sun is the most powerful immune system builder! If you can, put yourself in or near oxygen-rich environments such as oceans, forests, running streams, or greenhouses—and breathe deeply! Drink plenty of filtered water. Eat lots of antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies. Avoid microwaved and fried foods-- they can suppress the immune system! Get moderate exercise and plenty of sleep. Rest. Meditate, pray, and reduce stress in general. If you have access to an Infrared Sauna, use it! Keep a smile on your face, practice Gratitude, surround yourself with love & positivity, spend time doing things that bring you joy, and laugh lots!!

It's best to avoid petroleum-based lip balms and also ingredients that can be irritating (and toxic!), like synthetic fragrances, chemicals, preservatives, petrochemicals, phthalates, and synthetic colors. Natural and simple ingredients are always more nourishing! Some effective ways to help chapped lips include: 1. Applying organic topical oils such as jojoba, coconut, avocado, vitamin e, or shea butter several times a day and definitely before bed. 2. Consuming more healthy fats (especially omega 3 fatty acids) like flax oil, clary sage oil, and foods such as flax seeds, chia seeds, walnuts, almonds and avocados. If you're not a vegetarian or vegan then a high quality fish oil and cold water fish such as wild salmon are great sources of healthy omega 3s. 3. Drinking lots of filtered water-- you know you're sufficiently hydrated when your urine is a pale, straw color. 4. Using a humidifier, especially at night while sleeping. Hope that's helpful!

Colleen has the beautiful gift of healing in her perceptive, calming, wise way. She is someone who has the ability to make you feel very safe in her presence and for me that very important. One of the things I wanted to work on was my anxiety with flying and shortly after one session I flew to Europe. What came through Colleen in my reading gave me such a calm takeoff and flight. I fell asleep and enjoyed the flight. I was looking forward to my adventure instead of being anxious. It was stunning progress for me. That's just one of many improvements in my time with Colleen.
