Applied Functional Scientist
Hello everyone, Im here to reorient and organize your mind and body. Using an interdisciplinary approach to Movement in all 3 planes.
YD is a NYC-based Detroit transplant specializing in Sports / Performance / Recovery Programing. With 20+ years’ experience, YD started his athletic career playing college basketball. Due to a severe back injury his basketball career was cut short. Frustrated with the lack of progress using conventional methods. YD discovered yoga and healed himself back to recovery at full strength. It is through this experience that he honed his knowledge of bio-mechanics. Today he’s developed a practice that brings together his two passions-sports and yoga-to create a full mind/body fitness for your spirit program. Focusing on preventative and rehabilitation. Throughout his career, Yoga Dan has trained every fitness level from weekend warriors to professional athletes and most recently launched his successful Sproga®️ corporate program. Prior to his move, YD was the Yoga Trainer for the NBA’s Detroit Pistons. When he’s not on the mat you can spot him at the dog park with his two rescue dogs Samson and Delilah and wife Bridget or spinning records and making healthy meals as a certified Raw food nutritionist. Standing 6'8”, he has a penchant for sartorial dressing and remains an avid fan of the game.
