About me

Everyone can use help in some area of their life. Knowing who to go to and how to go about making change can be difficult. As a Physician Assistant, Functional Medicine Health & Wellness Coach and Reiki & Archangelic Light Master I can help you find that intrinsic motivation for sustainable change.
I've been in the medical field since 2006 as a Physician Assistant and have worked in the most extreme circumstances from Medical ICU, Multi visceral & Liver transplant, to pancreatic surgeries and advanced oncologic surgeries. My training was very traditional Western Medicine based until I struggled long enough with my own autoimmune condition. Which I was told I would be on potent immunosuppressants my entire life and would likely need surgery. I knew there had to be more and sought after many different approaches. And while I hadn't found a panacea, I did find relief, and a return to wholeness and health through a myriad of healing techniques. First and foremost, I believed my body could heal itself with the right support and supplementations. I became a Reiki Master, Archangelic Light Master, Qigong student, tried acupuncture, tai chai, am an avid yogi, practice meditation, do breath work, made smarter nutritional choices and incorporated Functional Medicine into my life. I even completed the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy course in 2018 and am an Internationally certified Health & Wellness Coach.
My passion is helping others who are ready to be helped - no matter what the ailment. It's all just an imbalance somewhere. Through my professional career, I've seen just about every disease, disorder, and dysfunction there is and have personally experienced my fair share of physical and mental pain and all the emotional turbulence that goes along with a chronic disease.
The most important decision I ever made was to decide not to be sick anymore. To show my two young children that you can create your own reality, that you don't have to be a victim to a disease. And because I'm human and still have some occasional struggles and bad days, overall I'm healthy, vibrant and alive! No surgeries, lots of supplements, good nutrition and daily lifestyle modifications.
I believe everything is possible. I'd love to work with you to help you find your "why", so that no matter what dysfunction may be going on, we can make sustainable changes towards your optimal health and your best life.

There are so many ways. I agree with Karina, shifting your energy is very useful and feasible technique. Sometimes a "State change" can give you a long lasting jolt. This can be done via "priming". Immersing yourself in a state of gratitude and vitality. (I can go into more detail if you'd like). Supplements can be fantastic as well. I use *Ashwaghanda and Licorice root. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen and is great at helping the body manage stress, reset the cortisol levels, increase energy levels and boost the immune system. Additionally, there are tons of nutritional options that help boost your energy levels. Avoid any processed foods (anything that comes in a box or wrapper). Eat more vegetables than anything else. Be as active as possible, especially in the morning. And at least once a day, do some deep breathing for 60 seconds. Energizing your cells with oxygen is a natural, quick and easy way to get a boost of energy. Give Ashwagandha a try first - be sure to take it in the morning as it may keep you up at night. Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Unless it's obtrusive or impinging - typically they resolve on their own. I honestly haven't researched much about it. However, my son had one after a somewhat traumatic birth and it resolved on it's own within a year. You can always try some form of energy healing (ie: Reiki) as that may help unblock any energy trapped. Good luck!

Hi. It depends on the type and location of the hernia. However, for the most part you can't "cure" a hernia aside from surgery. But you can avoid it from worsening. Typically when referring to a "Hernia" (as least in the surgical sense), it's inferring there's are a defect in the abdominal wall. The danger is when the defect becomes large enough that a piece of colon can get strangulated and blood supply would be cut off, essentially causing the bowel to die. That's emergent surgery. Some ways to help the hernia is: 1) make sure you're not straining while having bowel movements. If your BMs are typically hard, try some stool softeners and be sure to stay well hydrated. 2) avoid heavy lifting that could cause further strain on the hernia point 3) work on overall fitness, strengthening your back in particular 4) loose any excess weight you may be carrying. Hope that helps. I'm happy to answer any further questions or elaborate on anything mentioned. Good luck.
