Physical Therapist, Running Coach, Certified Dry Needling
I take pride in treating my patients, both runners and non-runners, with a personalized approach based on their needs and goals.
Danielle is a 2013 graduate from Sacred Heart University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She also earned her Bachelor of Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in 2011.
Danielle has clinical experience working with a variety of populations ranging from pediatrics to older adults with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is Level I North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) certified for the cervical and lumbar spine and plans to continue with her manual therapy certifications. Additionally, Danielle is full-body certified for Dry Needling from the Spinal Manipulation Institute to help supplement her manual therapy skills.
Being a marathon runner and triathlete herself, Danielle enjoys treating those in the running and triathlete community with common running injuries. She has immersed herself in running courses and mentorships that focus on running mechanics, common injuries, preventative exercises, and video analysis.
Danielle looks forward to continuing her education in her current interests including strength and conditioning, USA triathlon coaching, and neurological treatment concepts such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization(DNS). Enhancing knowledge in this area will help her provide improved outcomes for both orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Danielle believes in evidence based individualized treatments that focus on the patient’s goals and returning them to their prior level of physical activity.
