Resting Point Acupuncture, LLC
Chinese medicine is a holistic approach to health and healing. Every treatment is specific to you and your needs and affects the whole body, the mind and the spirit.
My Five Element Acupuncture practice in Congress Park helps patients suffering from stress and anxiety become more grounded and centered in their lives. This often begins with treating physical problems of pain, digestive disorders, headaches, insomnia or other physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issues. I specialize in Five Element Acupuncture focusing on the mental, emotional and spiritual issues.
I became interested in Chinese Medicine by way of studying Eastern Philosophies, meditation and Tai Chi. What impressed me was the approach to treating the root problem that includes the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
My training was at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine graduating in 2014 with a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have since studied and been certified in Five Element Acupuncture with Judi Terrill at Jade Woman Enterprises. I am Board Certified with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
I have found this medicine helps patients become more balanced and grounded. It helps with relaxation, stress reduction, to focus and have clarity, and to relieve pain and digestive discomforts.
Patients begin to experience more balance in their lives.
My guiding principal is to honor and respect your journey and attendant needs and to assist you in achieving well being in your life.
You are in for an extraordinary experience of feeling balanced and centered. We begin each session with sitting and talking about your issues. We then decide your treatment goals for the session followed by the acupuncture treatment. You will leave feeling relaxed and at ease. Everyone's experience is unique so be open and ready for the unexpected.
What initially influenced me was living in and around a hospital for Africans and Indians in Durban, South Africa where my father treated African children with malnutrition. Being a healer is deeply rooted in my psyche since my early years in Africa. So many people have the need for inner healing in order to move forward in their lives to feel productive and happy. I know from my own experience how important this is and I am moved to help others find the way along their own path.
