Yet one of the best parts of Debbie is who she is as a person. She has a heart as big as the sun and a smile that can lift a dreary day. Between Debbie, the Game of Clarity, and her book – I believe you can heal your life! The motto I think of when I think of Debbie is: “To understand oneself is to know oneself.” What can be better than that?

About me

Since 1983, I have been in the field of Mind/Body/Emotions/Spiritual healing, as an Alchemical Hypnotherapist and Trainer. This decade I have added Brain Health and am currently a student in Amen University, where I am becoming a Certified Brain Health Coach. With a B.A. degree in Interpersonal Communications my goal has always been smooth communication between people, devoid of misunderstandings which often lead to hurt feelings and unresolvable arguments. They can be the stuff that breakups and divorces are made of, which are tearing up the fabric of our society, as children need to grow up with a sense of security that only their caregivers can provide.

Through working in the subconscious minds of thousands of clients to get to the root of their concerns, I have realized the fact is that it’s no surprise people are fighting with each other, because that same battle is reflected inside their own heads! Along with tracing the issues back to incidents that happened in my clients’ lives (usually in childhood), I also help them identify their Inner Parts, Characters or Sub-Personalities, who may be wreaking havoc by unconsciously running them.

That cast of characters includes archetypes such as the Judge, Rebel, Rescuer and Victim, among a myriad of others. These parts have their origin in childhood as a way to adapt to living in the dysfunctional families most of us grew up with. For instance, in a family with a lot of chaos, a child may decide his or her best way to survive would be to do everything they are told, which may end up with them being called a “Goody-Two-Shoes” or a “Teacher’s Pet.”

This tendency would be classified as a Rescuer/Caretaker type and can easily lead to co-dependency in later life. I have written a book describing all these patterns called, Talking to My Selves: Learning to Love the Voices in Your Head. My work is very effective for individual clients who are struggling with varying issues in their life including relationships, pain, depression, illnesses, self-sabotage, addictions, life purpose, direction, shame, childhood trauma, sexual abuse and more.

It is not uncommon for problems to involve other people, such as bosses, parents or partners. Since we are always best at teaching what we most need to learn, one of my specialties (after I “cured” myself of it), became helping others to unwind from their co-dependent tendencies. I illustrate the pattern and how to solve it, giving clients the tools to break the cycle. (Hint: it starts with Rescuing your own Inner Child, just like they tell you on airplanes about putting your oxygen mask on first. You can read about it in Chapters 7 & 8 of my book and take a Quiz to see if it is affecting you.)

They say it takes two to tango, and I say it takes two to untangle, so I have a very innovative and effective way to do Couple’s Work. A common problem is simply a faulty connection between the Sub-personalities of both members of the couple, and whether the issue is co-dependency or something else, I help restore or create a fresh way for smooth communication to occur. I have a gift for being able to really listen to the needs of both parties and pride myself in not taking sides (so don’t worry guys – I can definitely be your advocate and help her understand you and your needs!).

I appreciate you taking the time to read my story and in return I’d like to offer you a free twenty-minute consultation where we can see if we would be a match to work together. Call me at 770-434-7488. If you are in the Atlanta area my office is in Smyrna, and if you are anywhere else in the world, I see clients over Skype all the time, as long as you have a reliable connection. I also have people travel to work with me in person over a week or a long weekend. My sessions are two to three hours long and go very deep, so most clients only see me for between one and five sessions, depending on their issues and previous experience in therapy. The work is results-oriented, and I love when people tell me they’ve tried everything and nothing has worked. Bring it on!

My Philosophy of Care

I had a dream that a friend invested some money for me and I was rich. She led me to my teacher when I told her about the dream.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

They wish they'd found me sooner!

My Inspiration

It's not what you think of when you think of hypnosis. At all!!! It's like having therapy with your eyes closed.
