Dr. Diana Hoppe is a distinguished physician in Obstetrics/Gynecology, highly respected clinical researcher and popular public speaker. While attending U.C. Berkeley pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Zoology, she volunteered at Cowell’s Women’s Hospital, working with nurse practitioners performing physical exams and providing contraceptive counseling. It was there that she realized her true calling as a doctor in the field of women’s health and decided to attend medical school. After completing her residency, Dr. Hoppe embarked on the adventurous journey of locum tenens where she explored various parts of our country, from Bismarck, North Dakota, to Winona, Minnesota, to Newport, Vermont. These travel experiences awakened her sense of curiosity and exploration for the country as well as the world.
Doctor Hoppe returned to Southern California where she co-founded Pacific Coast Women’s Health, which became a thriving practice and earned her the acclaim of San Diego’s Top Doctors in Ob/Gyn in October 2005. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Hoppe began doing international clinical trials in numerous areas of women’s health, including menopause, peri-menopause and libido. Now as a private concierge doctor outside of the healthcare establishment, Dr. Hoppe prides herself on providing her patients “true” individualized care.
In April 2010, Dr. Hoppe released her well-received book, Healthy Sex Drive, Healthy You: What Your Libido Reveals About Your Life, which received the award for best Published Non-fiction, Self-Help and Inspiration in June 2011 and was a finalist in the Benjamin Franklin Awards in Interior Design in May 2011.
She is a frequent contributor to and expert for media outlets around the globe and has appeared on numerous local and national television and radio shows, including the Dr. Oz Show.
