My favorite part about my job is that I get to meet new people every day. I get to hear their story, connect with them, and give them my full attention and heart.
I love being outside, playing pickle ball and golf, going on short runs, reading a good fiction book, and enjoying both solitude with the Lord and time spent with family and friends.
I grew up watching my parents go above and beyond for their patients as they ran a PT practice in Ohio. But it wasn't until I was designing a back brace that I was inspired to help the person who would wear the brace but also hopefully prevent that from ever happening to them in the first place.
Prevention is key.
I refuse to let productivity numbers limit your quality of care. Which is why I limit my patient case load. So that I can give you my full attention both at your visit and when you need me outside of visit times.
I refuse to let age be the answer to people's aches and pains. You deserve to age gracefully. Let me help you do so.
I refuse to let peeing your pants or having pain with sex just be accepted as societal norms. You deserve a better quality of life. Let me help you achieve that.
I refuse to let dizziness limit your daily function. Let me help you manage your symptoms so you can get back to doing what you love.
"Less awkward that I expected"
People never know what to expect with a mobile therapist- someone who brings PT to their home.
"I learned a lot and now I have hope"
A lot of the first session is you telling your story, me listening, and then us coming up with a conclusion together. But ultimately it involves you learning something new about yourself/body.
Don't wait until your issue is constant. Attack it while it still just happens off/on. Your number of sessions will be shorter, and the payoff will be greater. You don't take your car in once its broken down... you get routine maintenance to prevent a big bill. Do the same for your body. Be PROactive instead of REactive!
