I am a naturopathic doctor, functional medicine practitioner, and yoga instructor that helps women rediscover joy and peace of mind by getting to the root cause of their health issues.
I am the founder of an online wellness consulting business, mandypatterson.com, that empowers high performing women to find optimal health. I have a diverse background as an occupational therapist, holistic health coach, functional medicine practitioner, Doctor of Naturopathy, yoga instructor and mom of six and use my skillsets to help women find lasting, vibrant health. Using a lifetime of personal and professional experience, I bridge the division between conventional and alternative medicines and create a simple, holistic health plan that shows women that achieving wellness can be invigorating and fun. My mission is to empower women to dig deep in their quest for optimal health, to discover their confidence, and to help them commit to mindfulness and a vibrant lifestyle. I offer personalized one-on-one coaching and group program options in person and online to equip women with the tools to be the healthiest version of themselves.
I have been an occupational therapist for 18 years and was disenchanted by the current state of our health care system. I started my journey into holistic health and wellness over 10 years ago and have been using that knowledge base to help my clients and patients get to the root cause of their dis-ease and dysfunction.
My clients finally feel heard on their first visit with me. I have the client fill out a comprehensive health history prior to our first meeting and we dig into their past medical history, genetics, significant life events, and lifestyle choices. Based upon our first session review, we collaborate together in designing a sustainable wellness plan with the end goal of optimal health and wellness.
The benefits of yoga and meditation are endless. As a therapist and yoga instructor, I love that anyone can participate in a yoga practice at any age. It is a whole-body approach to wellness and can easily fit into a wellness plan.
