About me

"About Us

Growing up in Santa Cruz, California, Drs. Kira and Suzanna were surrounded by a holistic approach to wellbeing, thanks to their parents, who were professional modern dancers, and family members, who were naturopathic doctors. This early exposure sparked a deep interest in the mind-body connection, which was further intensified by the tragic loss of their father to a heart attack when they were just 10 years old. This life-changing event led them to question the missing link in their father's passing and ignited a passion for helping others heal and work through past traumas on all levels - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

After earning their Bachelors in Science in Cognitive Science and Psychology from UC San Diego in 2014, Drs. Kira and Suzanna pursued their calling by attending chiropractic school. They graduated as Salutatorian and Valedictorian from Life Chiropractic College West in 2018 and soon returned to the San Diego community to open Twin Waves Wellness Center.

At Twin Waves Wellness Center, our mission is to provide a warm, memorable, and enlivening space for people to receive Network Spinal Care. We strive to create a vitalistic and empowering environment where you feel seen and cared for, facilitating your journey of healing, growth, and living the life you were meant to live.
