Being injured and requiring surgery at a young age taught me a lot about the importance of quality rehabilitation and self care in the healing process. I was motivated to learn all that I could to contribute to my recovery, but more importantly, I discovered a career that I am passionate about. My goal has always been to help people to help themselves. After 26 years, I am still excited to learn all that I can from each patient in order to tailor individualized treatment programs.
After graduating from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1988 with a B.S. in Health Science and Master of Physical Therapy Degree, I began my physical therapy career as a Captain in the U.S Army, serving in the U.S and Germany.
Through my years of practice and ongoing continuing education in physical therapy, athletic training and Pilates, I developed a strong manual therapy approach and an eclectic blend of rehabilitation techniques to care for my patients. I believe in creating strong relationships with the traditional medical community, holistic medicine practitioners and wellness professionals for a truly integrative approach to rehabilitation.
