Elizabeth is an empathetic and intuitive teacher who makes learning the Alexander Technique a joy. With her superb training in the Walter Carrington tradition, she is able to creatively adapt to a student’s particular needs and to make a real impact with each lesson. I can guarantee that working with Elizabeth will, not only enable you to feel more in tune with your body and movement, but also help you to make long-lasting changes to habits that create and perpetuate pain and discomfort.
I always look forward to my weekly sessions with Elizabeth. She is a gifted and thoughtful teacher. I leave each lesson feeling more attuned to my body—more settled and grounded, but also almost taller somehow. And I carry that feeling with me through the following week.
To say Elizabeth and Alexander technique have totally changed my life is a complete understatement...I feel as though Elizabeth is giving me the tools to live more consciously in my body, ultimately giving me the power to heal myself (and live more pain free!) About me

Alexander Technique (AT) helps me organize my mind and body to support me in every way, from standing and sitting well, to standing up to fatigue and anxiety -- our constant companions during the pandemic. My Philosophy of Care

Both my parents were doctors, and like them I wanted to make people well. But I have always been particularly interested in how individuals can promote their own wellness. By teaching AT, I help people learn skills they can use to feel and function better, and do what they need and want to do, every day.

Alexander Technique (AT) is a mind-body learning method for developing the art of equilibrium. With AT skills, you will notice and unlearn habits causing needless tension and chronic pain; you'll attain your full stature, balance and well-being; and perform at your best.
