Such a caring and knowledgable team. I've gotten help with my anxiety & stress and have recommend others to them and everybody has been really happy. Great location and the office is clean and very calming.
Joe DelGiodice is simply the best. Started with him for help on an issue my mother was dealing with. Excellent. Then, years later he helped me with a foot issue. In just one session almost completely better. Also, his knowledge of herbs and supplements is second to none. Cannot recommend him enough. You will be blessed just visiting him. Best!
I started seeing Carla 4 years ago during a very challenging period in my life. I was suffering from chronic migraine, vertigo and anxiety. I was on a cocktail of medication to control my migraines, all of which had severe side effects. My goal was to discontinue the use of all medication within a year. Carla and I made progress very quickly and I was able to stop use of all medication after 6 months and now I am virtually migraine and vertigo free. Carla is so important in my life and has taught me how to take better care of my emotional and physical health. She is a wealth of knowledge and has a way of connecting with people that is very special. I cannot recommend Carla enough and I feel so fortunate to have her in my life!

Joe is a long-time member of the Hudson Healing Arts family (July 16, 1999!) and is a board-certified acupuncturist, Chinese and Western herbalist, and naturopath who focuses on whole body wellness, geriatrics, musculoskeletal care, women's and men's health, and natural food education. He regularly treats all manner of aches and pains, allergies, PMS, stress related conditions, insomnia, IBS, and seasonal related ailments.

Having studied extensively with herbalist priest Jeffrey Yuen, and having been a long-time apprentice to Master Western Herbalist David Simon, Joe is a graduate of Rutgers College, the Somerset School of Massage Therapy, the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and the American Naturopathic Medical Institute. He has always modeled his practice after the 19th century physio-medicalist country doctors, when patients were like family and a physician would tend you when you're sick, but would also help raise a barn, harvest a crop, fix a roof, cook a meal, or preach in a frontier church.

Joe is currently a faculty member at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Bloomfield, NJ. In addition to serving for years as an Exam Proctor for the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners, he is a past lecturer of Comprehensive Review and teaching assistant in Orthopedic Neurology at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a serious health condition, working towards a health goal, or looking to fend off flu season, the expertise of a nutritionist is beneficial. For those with chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or heart disease, proper nutrition is also extra essential when it comes to maintaining optimal health. Some other signs that you might be in need of nutritional counseling: -Difficulty sleeping or feeling wired -Sudden weight gain or weight loss -Over-reliance on caffeine -Brain fog -Bloating, constipation, or loose bowel movements -Irregularity in menstrual cycles

The goal of the Feldenkrais Method is simple: to help you move better and feel better. Through gentle movement and directed attention, Feldenkrais practitioners help you to improve function and breathing, facilitate ease of movement, and decrease pain and tension. With this ease of breathing and reduction of muscular tension comes a deep release from the chronic stress that so many of us store in our bodies. Feldenkrais lessons also develop your ability to bring yourself out of "fight or flight" mode to consciously relax.
Hudson Healing Arts Answers
Feldenkrais is a powerful yet gentle approach to improving students’ lives through mindful movement. It’s not about finding one “perfect” way to move; after all, we all have different bodies, bone lengths, histories of injury, fitness levels and so on. Rather, the goal is to create awareness and options personalized to you as a unique individual, which can guide you toward positive changes. This can be helpful if you have a specific physical issue you’d like to work on. However, it’s also beneficial for anyone and everyone, since our sedentary culture lends itself to unnatural patterns of movement that can cause discomfort and energy blockages. Ultimately, Feldenkrais helps you rediscover joy and ease in movement.

I've been going to Hudson Healing Arts for about 6 months now and what an amazing decision it's been! Just stepping foot in the space they have is a stress-reliever, as there's a real noticeable sense of peace and beautiful plants. It's a great respite from the chaos of the city. I've had the pleasure of getting to know many of the practitioners and each is a true expert at what they do and complement each other wonderfully. My time here has shown me that self-care isn't a "luxury" or something to check off your to-do list-- it's soo necessary! The effects of stress relief on the body, mind and soul can't be overstated, and I always leave in a refreshed state of mind. I've also learned so much about myself that's helped me nourish my soul and find what feels good for me. I've been lucky enough to experience Bach flower remedies, Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, and a limpia, and each time I've left feeling SO grateful I found this place & took my wellness and happiness into my own hands-- because at Hudson Healing Arts, you're in very good ones ... :) Whether you're looking for stress relief (who isn't?), guidance, healing your relationship with yourself and others, or wherever you are on your personal journey, you'll be doing yourself a huge favor by going to Hudson Healing Arts.
100 STARS! I have been going to see Beth O'Boyle off and on for the last 6 and a half years. She has helped me tap in to a deep state of peace and relaxation I never knew was possible. Even hearing her voice when I call to make an appointment puts me at ease! She is 150% "present" during my sessions... I feel nothing but pure empathy and authenticity from her which makes our sessions feel incredibly focused and productive. I initially went to her for reiki sessions and then transitioned to guided imagery which was so helpful in processing the reality of my divorce, and later, the reality of a new happy relationship! I highly recommend Beth to anyone going through a life change - be it "positive" OR "negative." We often don't realize the 'undercurrent' of stress affecting our daily lives until we experience the gift of clarity, relaxation, and restoration. I also tried an acupuncture session which I absolutely loved. I highly recommend. (ps - You will also enjoy the beautiful, quiet, peaceful ambiance of the rooms used for sessions!)
I was in constant pain - my neck, shoulder and back hurt from a car accident. What a relief to find such an amazing healing center!!! This team of wellness practitioners each offers their own modalities which compliment each other. If you ever wanted to get care all under one roof - Hudson Healing Arts is the place to go!
Carla is very knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach to treatments even when addressing a specific problem. Her expertise in identifying the exact and correct muscular trigger points is remarkable. The office location is just great for commuters and the atmosphere and treatments are very relaxing. Highly recommended.
I started coming to Carla (Acupuncture) few months back. Initially she focused on my digestive health and as that settled after few sessions we progressed to working on some of the underlying issues which caused the digestive issues to begin with. Carla has a very calm personality and she makes it really comfortable for you to discuss issues and she follows up to make sure the treatment is getting results otherwise she works alternatives. I've seen a massive increase in my overall energy levels and digestive health 10 sessions in.
I've been going to Carla for about six months now and she's great. She does little things like send reminders and responds to your emails/texts in a timely manner. The office is easy to get to and very peaceful. Finally, she explains what she's doing in a way that the average person can understand. I recommend her to anyone who is in need of acupuncture therapy.
Carla is really thorough in her examinations and questioning. She knows the right questions to ask and she's knowledgable in a wide array of ailments, injuries and chronic conditions. I've been helped immensely by my visits and feel that my health is dramatically better for seeing her on a regular basis.
