Everyone needs help, and maintaining a non judgemental health coaching relationship can make all the difference. Working with Jake I got the chance to establish my priorities, set goals, and honestly talk about what went well and what did not. Jake did a great job coaching, but not judging and gave me tools I could use to manage my health goals. About me

Hi! My name is Jake Hertenstein and I help men and women lose weight, gain muscle, and take control of their health so they can prevent and reverse lifestyle diseases, feel confident in their bodies, and live their fullest lives.

My story is a little different than most. It began when I witnessed my grandfather’s health rapidly deteriorate after being diagnosed with a rare form of dementia called “Lewy Body.” It was shocking, frustrating, and painful for me and the rest of my family to watch him go through this. My other grandfather died of a heart attack before I was born, when he was in his early 60s. I wondered, why did this happen? Would I suffer a similar fate knowing that I share genes with my grandparents? Is there anything I can do to prevent disease in my own body? These questions led me to dive deep into the world of health and since then I have discovered things that even doctors don’t know that have the power to change people’s lives to they can prevent disease, live longer, and feel better than ever.

My true passion, mission, and life’s work is to empower others to take control of their health and become the best version of themselves. When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me spending time outdoors, hiking, backpacking, skiing, mountain biking, traveling, gardening, cooking, baking sourdough bread, reading books, dancing, and drinking a good cup of coffee or a glass of red wine.
