SO Float Spa boats the nicest equipment, but what glaringly stands out is the wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and personable staff. As a professional athlete, it's not unusual for my days to be ridden with aches and pains. After one treatment I was able to notice a marked difference immediately. The amazing owners are also interested in sponsoring our local fight team, which happens to be the most successful in the PNW! So head on down, get your float on, and odds are you might just run into a meathead like me!
Just got a massage by Jamie. I feel so much better. She really has healing hands. I can’t wait to float!
I went in for a float last week and it was wonderful. When I got out of the float tank I was so relaxed and felt great. This whole week after I floated my muscles have felt very loose and I have slept like a baby. Jamey and her crew are wonderful and they put me right at ease. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a way to ease those achy muscles or just in need of the ultimate relaxing time.

very comfortable, inviting , and relaxing environment. It was exactly what we needed and we will go back again. I highly recommend this form of therapy for sore muscles, fibromyalgia pain, nerve issues and joint pain and stress relief too
I was blown away on how amazing I felt after my 60 minute massage. I’m a bit claustrophobic so I was worried but it is so relaxing and calming that you can just settle in and relax. I recommend not driving right after because it puts you on cloud 9! The clientele that I see most often are pregnant woman. This would be a great addition to their treatment plan. I cannot wait to book again!
i finally got to try floating over at So Float Spa in Medford. For those who don't know what a deprivation tank is I'll explain. It is a large box filled with 5 feet of water. The water is mixed with 1000 pounds of epsom salt. You shower and get clean then get in the box, wearing ear plugs. There is a door you close. The water is set to match your body temperature. You stay in the tank for 60-90 minutes. The tank is pitch dark. Coming from someone who loves water. It was depressing for me to never be able to float in water. My mom does it with ease, my feet sink no matter what i try. With the amount of salt anyone can float and i could with ease. So why do it? I did my entire 90 minute float wide awake, eyes open. You can't see or hear. As you begin to relax suddenly i realize i cant feel my feet, legs, hands, arms or anything. Because the water matchs you body temp. It feels like my feet are sinking but i realize im just that relaxed and cant feel them. 90 minutes in the tank felt like 3 hours. The owner comes to let me know my time is done and I'm bummed. I normally deal with high stress, many aches and pains etc. I leave the tank 1000 times more relaxed than I've ever been. I have no pain anywhere. I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from pain or stress. At least for me, a life changer. Thanks SO Float Spa!
