Are you thinking about surgery? Tired of medications? Do you want to feel better? Have you tried Rolfing Structural Integration?
Rolfing Structural Integration is a manual therapy that aims at re-balancing the bodies soft tissue, also known as fascia. When we put stress on our bodies, the fascia thickens and stiffens, causing chronic pain, discomfort, and compensation. Rolfers combine tension-releasing techniques with the exploration and re-education of movement patterns to help clients live and move optimally.
Jeff is in a unique position of understanding and being able to help you, because he comes from a place of chronic pain, several surgeries, diminishing quality of life and seemingly trying every possible treatment option prior to discovering Rolfing. Within three sessions he wanted to become a Rolfer because it had improved his life so much. After working as a MRI and CT Technologist for the past 25 years, Jeff had grown skeptical of the medical model where the “patient” enters a never ending cycle of evaluation, surgery, rehab, and pain killer medication prescriptions. There had to be another option. During his initial 10 Series Jeff realized that Rolfing was a collaborative and progressive type of self healing where the client has an active role in their own healing and health. That's is what Jeff wanted to promote. Jeff was trained at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado and received his certificate in 2014.
