Jenna had been coaching me on my weight loss journey. In January I weighed 265 and am currently 245. She has put together a workout program that I can do that is not to strenuous for my knees or back. She has helped me fine tune my diet by adding more whole food and cutting out things I should of never been eating in the first place. I have never felt that I was missing out on anything. She made me make realistic goals so right now my goal is losing 1 pound a week. When she is teaching me new exercises she is very patience with how she explains things and keeps coaching me if I am not doing things right. I always feel like I am first and foremost when I am with her, and I leave our sessions feeling good about myself and my decision to get healthy. Although, I have a long way to go I know she will have my back through the whole journey.
Jenna is an extremely knowledgeable and caring health coach. She has taught me how to integrate a more healthy, more vegetarian like lifestyle. Jenna helped me slowly add in more veggie options and creative meals. She guides me through the best way to understand my body and when certain meats or food isn't serving me anymore. I know I am always in good hands when I talk with her about my food options.
Jenna is a motivational powerhouse. Her knowledge of fitness and nutrition are on point, but even more is her enthusiasm for the topics mentioned and her ability to guide you toward your goals. She has such a relatable presence and coaches with compassion and honesty! I'm continuously inspired to push harder and step outside of my comfort zone, but have fun while I'm doing it! I would absolutely recommend Jenna to anybody who is looking for support with fitness, clean eating and improving your mental well-being!

About me

My official titles include, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), Certified Personal Trainer from International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and Certified Nutrition Coach from International Sports Science Association (ISSA). People in my life call me mama, wife, sister, daughter, friend, coach and on occasion badass! I truly love life, I feel like we are meant to enjoy every minute of it. My hobbies include working out, cooking, playing with my son, enjoying the sun, traveling, eating great food, watching movies and learning more about how to become a better version of myself. I'm originally from California, moved to Oregon where I met my husband and now live in Germany! I'm always trying new ways to workout and cook food, so my practice is always evolving to learn more. Which I love to learn and hear about new things that can improve our lives. I hope to hear more about you when we work together in the future!

My Philosophy of Care

Growing up I had a mixture of eating really well and having donuts for breakfast because it was the easiest thing for mom to pick up on the way to school. As I became older my food choices didn't get any better. When I was in my early 20's I began to notice that my body would react to the way I treated it, which in this case was less than dirt. I started to realize that if I treated my body well, I would not only feel great but also have better mental clarity. Of course if took me still a few years of binging on alcohol, drugs and sweets before I really came to the conclusion that I needed to be better to myself and those around me. So I searched and began to learn about all the things health related. I saw how people, almost unknowingly were mistreating their bodies, from the food they ate to how they slept. I realized that to be truly well, it would not only take eating a variety of delicious whole foods but also having good company around you, sleeping good, making choices that benefit you and make you happy. So with that I want to share this knowledge so you can better your life and set an example for those around you!

My Inspiration

We will get to take a look at not only how and what you eat but also many other aspects of your life that can affect the way you eat. For example, can you think of a time where you were either mad, happy, or even tired, followed by eating something that you instantly regretted? I'm totally guilty of this! The point is that a lot of our poor choices come from eating around our emotions. So as your coach I will help you with the tools you need so that there is less of that behavior.

Jenna really is the jack of all trades. She has made a positive impact on helping me with my nutrition. She has provided me with meal plans and tools I need to have a good relationship with food. I struggle with PCOS, so Jenna has helped me understand what foods are best for my body to manage my symptoms. Jenna always checks in with me, is very responsive and motivational!
