At the age of 28, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I went to my gynecologist and she gave me two options. I could either switch my birth control or get a full hysterectomy at 28 years old. In my heart, I knew there had to be another way. No one was telling me what was causing my symptoms and I wanted to get to the cause. Through my own research, a gut healing protocol, a new diet, and chiropractic care, my symptoms subsided and my system regulated on its own. Confirmation to me that when given half a chance, the body can heal itself. It was then that I knew my purpose. My purpose is teaching and helping women find a lifestyle that focuses on health from the inside out and that is sustainable forever. To bring awareness to symptoms and address the possible causes. I specialize in gut health and hormonal health because these two big players go hand in hand when it comes to the overall health of our system.
I was inspired by the hardships and challenges I faced in my own health journey. I struggled with an eating disorder for over a decade and was then diagnosed with Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 28. My gut microbiome was destroyed and my hormones out of control. It was through my own research and the help of a chiropractor that I was able to address everything. I now live a healthy lifestyle that works for me, have a healthy relationship with food, and my gut microbiome and hormones are as good as they've ever been.
Clients have described their first visit as beneficial, welcoming, and warm. One where they felt comfortable talking about anything and everything and felt heard.
In order to hit your goal of making the basketball team, you must make a layup. You practice your layup over and over but can't seem to get it right. A coach comes over and points out that you are jumping off of the wrong leg. After that advice, you then begin making your layups and you hit your goal of making the team. Health coaching works very much the same way from a health standpoint.
