My grandmother struggled with Diabetes for most of her life. By the time she was 89 her legs had swollen so greatly and peripheral neuropathy had become so severe that her Doctors informed her that without a change, amputation would be next. So she found herself an Acupuncturist who changed her diet, put her on herbs and supplements, and received 1 treatment every week. She made it to 98 years old with both of her legs. Seeing these huge changes first hand made me realize just how powerful this medicine was. I wanted to show patients there was another way.
These are all things my patients have personally said:
Thorough, nourishing, eye opening, educational, relaxing, magical, and "Wow, that was something else"
Im curious as to why they haven't tried it? Sometimes there's fear of needles, others have just never tried it, or don't know the MANY things it can treat. When there is a fear of needles, I offer the option of Cupping/Gua Sha/ & Herbs.
