Jessie Dhaliwal Therapy
MA, CCC, RCC
I have 7 years of experience in the mental health field, supporting clients as they reclaim their power. I researched what helps and hinders bicultural peoples access counselling for my thesis. I provide evidence and research-based interventions when clients communicate who they are, and what they want in life. I empathetically sit with clients as they grieve their past. I encourage clients to reconnect with themselves and others.
I am a trauma focused counsellor with Jennifer Michaud & Associates INC. and a LENS Neurofeedback technician with Providence Therapy. We feel honoured to provide a welcoming, safe and healing space for clients.
I am an anti-oppressive, intersectional, and trauma focused counsellor. I practice from a human rights and social justice perspective, and believe that belonging is central to wellness. I am trauma-informed and focus on healing from the past to reclaim our power.
I offer free 20 minute video consultations to give clients an opportunity to assess fit and ask questions.
I personally know it takes strength and courage to reach out for support. We enter therapy hoping for deeper insight and healing by telling our story. We prepare to be vulnerable in a safe space to heal our wounds. I support clients to draw from their strengths, and to start showing up for themselves.
