In 1999 I put aside my musical pursuits to follow a long standing dream, healing through Craniosacral Therapy & Therapeutic Massage.

After a career teaching music and jazz at university level in USA and Denmark, I chose to follow a long-standing dream: to become a Rolfer. So of course, I took the prerequisite "massage school' education, got licensed in Washington, and enrolled in a few follow-up courses--Acupressure, Craniosacral, Berry Method, and more. After my first CST course, I was 'hooked' and opted for that over Rolfing. I was enthralled by the light touch of CST, and by the broad spectrum of conditions it can help. That began a whole series of related craniosacral workshops, under the tutelage of Stanley Rosenberg (DK), Alain Gehin (DK, USA), John Upledger, to name a few., I soon opened my Rubato practice in Spokane. and again after moving to the Portland area (Vancouver, WA) in 2005.
My hope is for 2-3 clients a week, who have not found help elsewhere. I find great fulfillment in helping other human beings, even more satisfying than teaching was.
