I started practicing yoga in 1999, and entered teacher training 10 years later. Yoga appealed to me on so many levels: the science and anatomy of the postures, the emotional wisdom and call to balance, the deep non-religious philosophy stressing kindness. And, over these years, the practice continues to call me to go deeper and to widen the sphere of of yoga's profound path to healing.
With kindness as an overriding principle, safety and health are the first priorities.

I've always had a deep concern for the well being of others, including all of nature in it's mystery. My first college degree was in Medical Technology, and my second in Art. I find commonality in these two approaches, and am dedicated to making a contribution to health, harmony, and to beauty in my lifetime.
