As I CLT Registered Dietitian, I am passionate about helping others live their most abundant life and believe it is possible for anyone! With the right knowledge, provided by MRT testing, coupled with my nutrition training, and the desire to feel well, you can be well on your way to feeling good in your skin again.
I help patients with conditions like irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, migraines, sinusitis, eczema, fibromyalgia or other autoimmune or inflammation conditions. Food plays a role in these problems and until you identify the foods causing your inflammation, medication will not cure you, since you're not removing the root cause of your problems. When a person has an inflammatory reaction to a food, it's called a food sensitivity (not allergy). Even salmon, touted for it's anti-inflammatory power inflames certain individuals. I work with patients that want to feel better, and most find symptom relief within 7-21 days.
Maybe you have tried elimination diets before, but my program is different and avoids wasted time and money. Elimination diets are also not ideal because some sensitivities and inflammation are silent or symptom-free, but still not harmless. Maybe you have tried ALCAT food sensitivity testing before, but ALCAT does not pick up all types of food sensitivities, so you could be missing some important pieces. With an MRT food sensitivity blood test (not the same as allergy testing) Katrina will help you get the most reliable, specific and complete food sensitivity results. We then remove the reactive foods from your diet and create a protocol to introduce your safe, non-inflammatory foods. By following this protocol, your gut heals, and symptoms subside so that you can achieve optimal wellness.
Another important component within my practice is micronutrient testing because deficiency is more common than you might think and the long-term impact is immeasurable. Stress, use of medications, poor diet and other modern lifestyle factors lead to deficiencies. Approximately 50% of people that take a multivitamin are still deficient due to complex lifestyle and absorbancy factors. Deficiencies can manifest as poor blood sugar control, infertility, mood issues, and are even linked to risk for cancer.
