Kendyl is a mother, a yogi, a musician and a Kambô practitioner.
She is trained and certified by the International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IAKP) and apprenticed with an organization that lived with the Matses tribe in Peru and learned this ancient tradition directly from the people in the Amazon jungle. She believes in healing that addresses the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. Kambo has been a great ally and guiding light in Kendyl's own healing journey and it brings her joy to share this beautiful medicine.
Kendyl has a Master's Degree in Education and was trained by Sri Dharma Mittra in New York in 2009. She has been teaching yoga, pranayama, and meditiation on the North Shore of Oahu for 12 years. She loves to weave music into her yoga classes and her Kambô ceremonies.
Kendyl is a performing musician in Hawaii. She writes songs, sings, plays Hawaiian Slack Key guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and sound bowls. She also teaches music classes and workshops. She is an advanced Reiki practitioner and integrates yoga, music, and Reiki to serve her clients.
I am passionate about guiding others to meet themselves and create a safe space for them to release layers of habit patterns and stuck energy. My intention is to create a container set for deep transformation immersed in music, breath, meditation, and spiritual exploration.
Your experience with Kambo can be as gentle or as powerful as you wish. Kendyl has worked with people of all ages and with many different health conditions. She has been trained to offer the medicine in an extremely gentle way by slowly applying a very small dose and letting the individual meditate with the vibration of the medicine. Alternatively, she also feels comfortable taking people through a deeper more powerful experience.
Kendyl has lived on Oahu’s North Shore for over 20 years The majestic green mountains, colorful flowers, rainbows and seasonal change of the ocean’s song have deeply shaped her being, and her practice. Her healing path began 15 years ago when she became a mother to her first child. The idea of growing and supporting the life of another human inspired her to take care of her own health so that she could give her child the best health possible.
