As a wellness practitioner, I am driven to support and empower others to be healthy, positive and thriving while navigating the challenges of life.
My coaching is a holistic approach using evidence based theories in wellness coaching, behavior change, and positive psychology to support clients in overall wellbeing, stress management/reduction, life balance, self-care/compassion, resilience and so much more.

While being in the Health & Fitness world it became evident that many people needed more than to be just given a good workout or nutritional plan to be healthy or to create long term healthy habits. It was difficult to see those that did not keep the fitness routine or work out schedule up, how so many felt it was a personality flaw – that something was wrong with them.
Or for those just given a diagnosis or advised by a medical practitioner they need to change a part of their life otherwise they could find themselves in an unhealthy state in the future. After 3 weeks day to day activity was the same. This was life or death.
What was needed with so many clients was learning about behavior change, making changes needed to reach the goals they set, having someone to support them when barriers or challenges arise, standing by their side, building on strengths, be empowered to make change – establish the healthy habits they chose to create.
I just described one of the roles of a Health & Wellness Coach! I made the career change and could not be happier!
During the first visit we got to know each other lots of talk around hopes and dreams.
After discussing the self assessments I completed prior to our first meeting, it became clear what was important to me. What I valued and desired, I could envision my best self with clarity. I created a Wellness Vision.
From there we set some 3 month goals and smaller goals to get started in reaching and living that vision. Kim built on my strengths and energized me to create sustainable change. I am looking forward to our next visit.
