Yoga Therapist, Spinal Health, Stress Reduction
I am a Yoga Therapist who helps people relieve back pain through postural awareness, breathing techniques & customized therapeutic movement.
I am a Certified Yoga Therapist. I attended the Clinical Yoga Therapy program at Loyola Marymount University and gained my Clinical experience working with chronic pain patients at the Simms Mann Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles, California. I specialize in developing chronic pain management programs for individuals, hospitals and clinics.
In 2017, after 5 years of leading the Wellness program for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, I developed a Yoga Therapy program for their Multiple Sclerosis patients.
I offer an integrative approach to wellness by providing evidence- based information, strategies and tools that can be used to develop a lifestyle program to optimize your wellbeing.
These therapeutic programs assist in managing symptoms by reducing stress (physical & emotional), improving functional ability and mobility (strength & flexibility), and providing education of mind body (breathing techniques & meditation) practices that can be integrated in conjunction with your physicians.
After being diagnosed with Endometriosis and Chronic Fatigue, I experienced the benefits of Yoga Therapy first-hand. I became passionate about extending my practice to help support others who are living with chronic back pain, recovering from an injury or managing an illness. Yoga continues to teach me how to manage the depression, anxiety and grief related to chronic issues.
Informative and relaxing
It's all about listening to your body, learning to breathe to support your body and discovering movements that fit what you need in the moment.
