Namaste! Joy to you! I truly believe we are whole and beautiful and meant to enjoy the dance with life. I have spent many moments and tried many healing ways to break through, break out and step up! It was Lisa Irgensthe journey deep within that brought me home to myself and allowed me to cultivate joy, love, courage and confidence!
My mission is to support you on your journey towards living fully alive, fully human and fully divine connected to your body and mother earth!
One thing I learned from being a mom is we do not come into this world knowing how to thrive as a human. There are tools, skill and ways of being that we need to cultivate to dance joyful with life! I will share what I have learned (and continue to learn) from my dance with life.
MORE ABOUT ME: I grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota. I had a magical beginning with nature all around me. We had the lake, the fields, an enchanted forest where I named all the trees and built a fort of twigs creatively named “Twiggy”. Fast forward, I graduated from Prior Lake and went to University of Minnesota- Mankato for a degree in International Business and Economics. Once graduated, I joined Peace Corps and spent two years in the Dominican Republic mentoring businesses.
After pursuing International Business for a few years, I changed course and went into ministry full-time. I traveled through the states for a year with NET (National Evangelization Team) leading retreats for high school students. From there, I worked with youth and families for 20 years in Catholic parishes redirecting energy and marveling at the youth of today!!!
Then real ministry began as I became a parent and was blessed to be able to stay at home with my babies. Raising my babies was a magical and enchanted time of observing, nurturing and sustaining human growth. I was mystified, awestruck, and shocked over and over again. Babies do not come into the world knowing and doing the basics of sleeping and eating. I was surprised how much they needed to learn the survival basics from the start. And on the other hand, their curiosity and determination to grow, become and expand still inspires me to this day!
As I reflect back on life, I see there are threads that create my tapestry of life. One of the main threads is life being the best curriculum one can find. Another thread is nature as an ally and constant friend and teacher. The embodiment thread, where I have always known my body can be listened to and trusted (not that I always did listen and trust), seems to be key to thriving today as we learn more about alternative healing, energy and our interconnectedness. Other threads that make me who I am today are grieving well, emotional trauma and healing, and choosing love over fear.
Where am I today? Who am I today? I am letting the past slip away and dancing into a brand new way. I had a choice to make. Do I live safe and deadened to my true self and passions or do I rise and discover my authentic self and live fully alive in the human body? (Do I surrender to ego or let me soul rise???) I made my choice and have found the new way is a very different way than the past. It calls for being in the present moment aware of my thoughts and feelings, and choosing to let love and my heart lead me. It is about living in love, trust and gratitude. It calls for me to show up each day and act with courage despite my fears. It is about inching forward step by step not knowing all the details and trusting I am co-creating a life I love and I am supported by a loving and generous universe.
I am a healing healer who is at a point of walking with others who are wanting to rise. I listen with compassion and guide one to listen to his/her self, share my tools, healing gifts, joys, hopes and experiences with other courageous souls who are willing to take an honest look at self. Amazing changes can happen when one takes responsibility for their life and choices, accepts what can not be changed and has the courage to change what can. I look forward to being on your healing path with you, if you so choose. Namaste!
