Mary enjoys helping people overcome obstacles to optimal wellbeing. She has a large toolbox of skills from which to draw to best serve you.
Mary has been practicing massage therapy for 15 years, since graduating top of her class from an outstanding clinical massage therapy program at Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy in Michigan. She is driven to continually expand her knowledge and skills to achieve ever greater results.
Mary comes from a large, boisterous family and is married with a grown daughter. She enjoys playing the piano, argentine tango, cooking, reading, and yoga. Previously, she worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for 28 years, serving first as a live-in house parent and working up to director. In that role, she served 350 individuals and supervised 450 staff in a wonderful non-profit focused on building interdependence, meaningful relationships, and loving communities. She is accustomed to helping people overcome obstacles. She believes there's no reason to settle, life is good, let's live it to the fullest!

She does her utmost to reduce pain and limitations to restore function and wellbeing, so you have a better platform from which to build. Mary recognizes, lasting change comes from working together to identify contributing patterns in everyday life and implementing strategies to reduce recurrence. She will happily provide tools and recommendations to support your efforts and integrate/maintain results.

Medical Massage a strategic analysis and application of 10 techniques as taught by Dr Ross Turchaninov including: Lymph Drainage, Cutaneous Reflex Zone, Segment-Reflex, Connective Tissue/Myofascial Release, Modified Neuromuscular/Trigger Point, Cyriax's Procedure, Periosteal massage, & Post Isometric Relaxation.
Clinical Techniques Neuromuscular/Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Structural Integration, Advanced Neuromuscular for TMD, Sports.
Therapeutic Techniques Swedish, Thai, Shiatsu, CranioSacral [certified], Reiki [master level], & Lymph Drainage.
Mary is also certified as a Coach, Yoga Teacher (RYT200), Qigong Instructor, and Healing Foods Educator.
