Typically, I work with people in-between relationships or in a relationship but not experiencing intimacy, on a 1-1 basis using body-based tools -- breath, sound, movement and touch -- to help them feel safe in their body, experience more pleasure and have the life and relationships they want.

 

What my clients have experienced includes releasing the imprints in their body from negative, judgmental messages and shame, often going as far back as early life, and shedding the body armor (guarding patterns, tension and numbness) that they developed as a result.  As armor is released, people have sensation back, move from impotence to function, access pleasure, and step into life more fully and joyfully. They also learn communication and embodiment skills that boost their confidence and open the door to intimate, fulfilling relationships.

About me

I bring my own journey to this work ..... growing up with shame and negative beliefs from Irish Catholicism, my early sexual experiences were devastating and painful, and I only began to explore my own sexuality after my divorce, at age 32. Alongside a 30-year career as a mechanical engineer, I explored my sexuality, while processing the trauma, judgments, shame and negativity that had kept me numb for decades. In 2017, in a workshop with Dr. Betty Martin, I discovered an embodied approach to sex education, and knew I’d found my calling. 

 

Integrity, safety and credibility are all important to me (I am an engineer, after all, and have a grounded, practical approach to things), so I am a life-long learner, building and expanding on my skillset to complement my intuitive, compassionate and nurturing nature. I’ve studied NeuroAffective Touch, Somatic Sex Education, Sexological Bodywork, Integrative Hypnosis, Healing Touch (energy modality similar to reiki), Sacred Intimacy, and Genital Dearmoring, to enable me to offer you trauma-informed, safe, and effective sex education and healing.


I work with clients 1-1 (in person or online) using body-based tools -- breath, sound, movement, touch and imagination (which activates energy flow). These tools work online as well as in person.
