I want to help you to get your human schwerve back.
I have always considered myself to be healthy. When I had fertility issues, I chalked it up to ‘getting old’ (I was 33). I was healthy by any other metric. With the assistance my reproductive endocrinologist (read: medicine), I conceived child #2. Skinny was healthy to me, I decided to be proactive to and lose that extra baby weight by eating less while exercising more. I lost 25 pounds in 4-6 months. I also lost hair, began to have ocular migraines, gained an extra heartbeat, fought off one virus after another, and had very irregular periods. My doctor could not diagnose me with any medical condition, so she sent me to a psychiatrist - who could not diagnose me with any behavioral condition. My human curiosity kicked in… I made my health my full time job. I weaned myself from 2 prescription medications, re-grew my hair, lost that extra heartbeat, and re-gained a period like clockwork. I did this by figuring out what it means to be human, and by living my life in a way that honors that humanness. It’s an ancestral perspective - and I now make it my work to share this insight with others.
