I am committed to creating a support system for mothers to enable them to feel confident, safe, educated, rested and nourished.
Michelle Versteeg is birth Doula and childbirth educator. She is the grateful wife and mother to three children. When her youngest started high school she stood on the corner of Full Time Mom & What’s Next?
After a time of reflection (counseling) she uncovered her desire to help women make the transition to motherhood. So she returned to school to do just that. Being a SAHM for 26 years has taught her that there is a difference between parenthood and parenting skills, with insight and knowledge she understands the joy and the isolation that comes with motherhood. Michelle has dedicated the next chapter in her life to serving women in their journey to motherhood. She believes with support, education, friendship, and guidance mothers will thrive as they take on their new roles.
Michelle is a Birth Doula and a Prepared Childbirth Educator. She is also a member of the North Central Iowa Breastfeeding Coalition and co-founder of North Iowa Mom Tribe. When she is not teaching or assisting at births, you can find her doing the laundry.
