Integrated Bodywork and Holistic Wellness
Hello! My name is Nick, I’ve been in the field of holistic health and fitness since 2009. I believe that true health is freedom, freedom from dis-ease and from anything that limits us from reaching our full potential as human beings on this planet. I like to bring a practical, personal and intuitive understanding to the field of massage, bodywork and holistic health through simple self-care and lifestyle changes so that people feel empowered to take control of their own health, their own lives.
I believe that touch is the primary language of compassion, and a primary way of spreading compassion and an essential part of what innately contributes to the health of being a Human. Along with this its important to realize the body is an integrated system of systems and what effects one system will indirectly and/or directly effect another. It is important to have this in mind when it comes to taking care of your health. With these concepts in mind, I intuit and customize a unique style that integrates training in several western and eastern modalities including Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point style massage, myofascial and connective tissue release, reflexology, Thai massage, Shiatsu and energy work (Reiki), and necessary lifestyle recommendations that I feel are necessary based on a persons specifics needs/goals.
The clinical education I received from the Swedish Institute and the knowledge of functional biomechanics through my experience as a corrective exercise specialist allows me to provide clients with a thorough, tranquil, and truly holistic and effective therapeutic experience that creates a safe space for people to heal and cultivate a new found awareness and balance that guides them safely back to the home of their bodies.
"Nicholas was of tremendous help during my recovery from my hip/lower back injury and I am grateful to have worked with him. He is very knowledgeable in anatomy and it was clear from the beginning that he is very precise and intentional with his treatment. He is very skilled and thorough, often explaining the anatomical reasons behind the pain, he helped me feel empowered through knowledge, in order to understand why the injury occurred and how it can be avoided in the future. I particularly appreciated that he is not only a skilled massage therapist but also a personal trainer and an athlete himself. His detailed advice helped me improve my posture and form during workouts, empowering me to get stronger and avoid re-injury. "
Nick is fantastic, he has a very kind and compassionate approach that creates space for healing. In our sessions I've felt he was genuinely interested in understanding my healing journey, and in exploring how he could contribute to it using the modalities at his disposal. I've been impressed by how good he is at working with energy, as well as the more physical aspect of massage. He's also very good at communicating, and very quick to change or redirect energy when something's not working. I highly recommend him...5 stars! -Eric

You're back? Ok cool. Back to how fantastic Nick's bodywork therapy is...
As a cosmetologist I get a lot of pain from doing my job, which includes bending and straining to give my own clients the beauty services they come for. Massage for me is necessary and mainly for pain relief to get back to a better state to serve others. It has been such a joy to work with Nick every few weeks to heal my body.
Nick is one of the best LMT's I've worked with. He listens intently and uses a knowledgeable and creative approach to give exactly the type of therapy your body needs. Adding in energy work has been the greatest healing that I never knew I needed until I tried it. I am able to completely relax and allow my body and mind to be melted into a magical state of peace.
Its so wonderful to be able to be completely comfortable in the presence of such a kind, caring, and compassionate individual. -Yana Marks
